ABOUT ME

My name is Tanja, I come from a small town in Serbia, Bački Petrovac. I love art, nature, beautiful music and positive people. I have been painting since I was young because my father was an art teacher and my role model.

My favorite gift was not chocolates and dolls, but felt-tip pens and crayons. After primary and secondary school in my small town, I continued my education in Novi Sad, majoring in biology, where my painting and drawing grew from a hobby into everyday drawing of plants and animals, tissue cells, bones…

A period of stagnation

After I graduated from university got a job, got married, had a daughter, my hobby became a thing of the past. Life’s challenges were getting bigger and I didn’t have time for what I really want and know… until…

Until life brought me to my knees, but literally

When I found out about the cancer diagnosis, I felt like I was in a black hole.Thanks to God and his mercy, my family and doctors, I managed to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But soon the corona came, which left no one indifferent, not even me.

Then, in long days full of uncertainty, I asked myself who I am, what I am, what I want from of life..because he is only one and we should not lose him to things we don’t want to do.

Then, together with my daughter, I started to paint, to educate myself and to exhibit my paintings.
